GCCSI: Forum 2015

Mark Lewis, on behalf of Teesside Collective, joined senior government, industry, environmental, economic and academic leaders to discuss the role of CCS within current global action on climate change. The Global CCS Institute Forum was established to encourage live knowledge sharing and networking opportunities with leading experts in CCS from Europe and beyond.

The forum included a special UK case study featuring the UK Department of Energy and Climate Change and the Scottish Government focusing on the UK’s three most advanced CCS Projects: Peterhead CCS Project, White Rose, and the recently launched Industrial CCS cluster – The Teesside Collective.

The full day forum ended with a panel discussion supported by the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office followed by a networking reception at the Glasgow Science Centre.
