As of October 2019 the Teesside Collective project has relaunched with the name Net Zero Teesside and is planning to be operational by mid 2020. The project is led by 6 major oil and gas companies with support from Tees Valley Combined Authority and regional partners. The project now includes the addition of a gas fired CCS power station making it the leading CCS project in the UK.
The project has submitted a planning application and will begin with an informal consultation with the local community and other stakeholders to help inform the development of our proposals. If you wish to find out more about the project or the consultation, you can do so on the Net Zero Teesside website here.
This website will remain live until the end of 2019, following which the information and reports undertaken by Teesside Collective will be moved to the Tees Valley Combined Authority Website.
